Le Petit Rallye
Presentation
Young people in Year 10 or 3ième (French system), before joining Le French Rallye, are invited to take part into Le Petit Rallye for monthly activities organised by Parents in groups of a maximum of 45 children. Le Petit Rallye is named Le Petit Rallye Clarence for the season 2024/2025.
Members are expected to attend at least 6 out of the 8 activities to secure their place at the Rallye the following year.
Organisation
-
Le Petit Rallye is managed on a voluntary and non-for-profit basis by a group of parents or "Coordinators". Le Petit Rallye is not a legal entity. The role of Le Petit Rallye Coordinators is to coordinate and manage the list of Members and the smooth running of Le Petit Rallye.
-
Membership to Le Petit Rallye is granted upon an online application process which can be found on the Apply Page .
-
Upon confirmation of membership, parents will be kindly required to join a presentation meeting generally held in September. Attendance to the meeting is mandatory to guarantee a successful membership.
-
Members of Le Petit Rallye are split in 2 groups of 45 children (Red and Green). Each Member's parent commits to organise and attend an activity (for the 45 children of their group). We aim to offer 10 activities throughout the school year. The parents organising the events "Host Parents" (in groups of 4-5) are fully responsible for the preparation and the good running of the activities, abiding by the rules of the event venue and those of the United Kingdom.
-
At events, all Host Parents have the duty of caring for and supervision of the Members and must put in place whatever measures they deem necessary, according to the specifics of each venue, to provide a safe environment for the enjoyment of the Members.
-
Le Petit Rallye is graciously hosted by Le French Rallye website. The website was developed to allow for the electronic management of invitations, replies and check-in on the day of the event, accessible in the Members section.
